Nicolette, Inc. announced a strategic partnership with March of Dimes to provide health education digitally to parents of babies in the NICU. Educational content from March of Dimes will be delivered to parents via Nicolette’s NicoBoard application, specifically designed for use in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). Along with providing educational content, Nicolette and March of Dimes will share data in an effort to continue learning and providing patients with the best-in-class information. NicoBoard will reside on iPad stations at the baby’s bedside and is slated for its first installation this spring.
“Our partnership with March of Dimes is powerful,” states Nicolette CEO Phil Martie. “In the mission to empower NICU parents, credible education on key health topics is critical to our success. March of Dimes suite of education materials are both credible and effective in providing parents with competence and confidence. We are proud to be the first digital health application to provide their content at the bedside.”
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Nicolette to deliver such critical information and support to families, especially in hospitals where and when they need it most,” said Lori Gunther, Sr. Director NICU Innovation at March of Dimes.
Nicolette is a patient empowerment company. They build visual, audio, and interactive displays of individualized medical data and research to enable patients to understand their health quickly and with enough confidence to serve as their own healthcare advocate. Their first product is called NicoBoard, a bedside tool that empowers NICU parents to partner with their medical professionals through visualized medical data, curated research & education, and engagement tools.
